FlowNote is built for saving songwriting ideas. This policy explains what information may be collected, why it is used, and the choices available to you.
Information we collect
FlowNote may collect the following information when you use the app:
- Account details such as name, email address, and password authentication data.
- Project content such as titles, genre, mood, notes, transcripts, lyrics, and saved edits.
- Audio recordings you choose to save inside a project.
- Billing records such as payment status, credit purchases, and payment provider checkout identifiers.
- Technical data such as session cookies, request metadata, and security logs needed to run the service.
How information is used
We use information to provide the app, authenticate accounts, save projects, process recordings, generate lyrics when requested, protect the service, and improve reliability.
AI processing
When you ask FlowNote to transcribe audio or transform lyrics, the relevant audio, transcript, lyrics, and project context may be sent to the configured AI provider to complete that request. Do not submit content you do not have permission to process.
Payments
Paid credit checkout is handled by a third-party payment provider. FlowNote stores payment status, purchased credit amounts, and provider transaction identifiers so credits can be granted securely. Full card numbers are handled by the payment provider and are not stored by FlowNote.
Cookies and sessions
FlowNote uses session cookies to keep you logged in and protect authenticated actions. These cookies are used for app functionality, not advertising.
Storage and security
FlowNote uses access-controlled account areas and stores uploaded recordings outside the public app folder by default. No web service can guarantee perfect security, so use strong passwords and avoid storing highly sensitive information in project notes.
Your choices
You can edit or delete projects and saved lyrics from inside the app. For account-level deletion or privacy questions, contact the FlowNote operator at [email protected].
Changes
This policy may be updated as FlowNote changes. The latest version will be posted on this page with a new updated date when material changes are made.
